THE wife of the Alimosho Local Government Area Chairman, Hajia Kabirat Sulaimon has welcomed the first baby of the year 2023 at the Bola Tinubu Primary Health Centre, Akowonjo.
The event which took place on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, is usually organised, yearly, by the Chairperson and the Department of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA) in collaboration with the Health Department and it is used to appreciate God for increasing the local government in number.
In her address, the wife of the Council Boss encouraged all parents to take good care of their children because it is the lack of care that leads to the fall of society.
"When a child is well cared for, a healthy family will be guaranteed. And a healthy family will consequently guarantee a healthy society," she said.
Joining the wife of the Executive Chairman at the event is the wife of the Executive Vice-Chairman as well as the Supervisors for Health and WAPA, Hon. AbdurRasheed Abolade and Hon. Adesuwa Omoruyi respectively; the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) and the HOD WAPA among others.
