Lagos Police arrests two traffic robbers terrorizing motorists along Ketu/Ojota axis

The arrested suspects were allegedly found with five stolen android phones, a jack knife, a cutlass, a mask, and Indian hemp.

THE Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of two traffic robbers, identified as Kareem Ahmed and Afo Emma for terrorizing and robbing motorists of their belongings around Abiola Garden, Ketu/Ojota axis of the state.

According to media reports, the arrested suspects, who are said to be 26 years and 24 years respectively, were allegedly found with five stolen android phones, a jack knife, a cutlass, a mask, and Indian hemp.
 
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement on Monday, June 13, 2022, claimed the arrest was followed by repeated complaints from motorists about the activities of these miscreants along the axis.

He then disclosed that the suspects are currently assisting the police in an ongoing investigation, aimed at arresting other criminal elements in the axis.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has, however, directed that efforts be sustained in all identified black spots in the state to ensure that all miscreants in these areas are apprehended and dealt with in accordance with the law.
