MULTICHOICE Nigeria has announced an increase in the tariff prices of its DSTV and GOtv packages. According to the statement, the increment would take effect on May 1, 2024.

2.  JAMB TO REFUND REGISTRATION FEES OF DESERVING VISUALLY-IMPAIRED UTME CANDIDATES9326
The Lagos State Coordinator for the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group, Prof. Olarenwaju Fagbohun has announced that the board will refund fees paid by deserving visually-impaired candidates for the purchase of the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms.

3.  FG SETS 18 YEARS AS MINIMUM ENTRY AGE INTO TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

The Federal Government of Nigeria has directed that admission to tertiary institutions should not be given to candidates less than 18 years old. Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, decried the activities of some parents pressuring their underage students to get admission into tertiary institutions, stating that the 18-year benchmark is in line with the 6-3-3-4 education system.

4.  POLICE RESCUE THREE TODDLERS LOCKED UP IN AGODO-EGBE9320
The Lagos State Police Command has announced the rescue of three toddlers allegedly locked up in a room in the Agodo-Egbe area of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA of Alimosho LGA, Lagos State. The children, a girl and two boys between the ages of two and four years were locked inside a room.
