ALHAJA Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the daughter of President Bola Tinubu and the Iyaloja General of Lagos State, has urged Nigerians to have patience in the face of economic hardship across the nation.
According to media reports, she advised the populace to hold onto their optimism, pointing out that the economic crisis is not unique to Nigeria but a global phenomenon.
In her words: “My message to all Nigerians is to please exercise a little more patience. Everything will be alright; it’s just a matter of time. We need to keep our hope alive. There is an economic downturn all over the world and not in Nigeria alone. But we pray Allah will see us through.”
She said this while speaking with reporters at the 2024 Mawlid Nabiyy of the Lagos State chapter of Aljamahatul Qadiriyyah Islamic Movement.
