TOYIN Peppeyo, aka Sisi Alimosho, on Friday, May 06, 2022, lauded the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) for urging President Buhari to take steps toward ending the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

Sisi Alimosho reminded her audience that ASUU initially embarked on a one-month warning strike before extending it to another two months when their demands were not met by the government.

She reiterated SERAP’s stand that this ‘everlasting’ strike is only affecting poor Nigerian students.

“The Federal Government should meet ASUU’s demands so that a student that is originally supposed to spend four years in the university will not end up spending five or six years,” Sisi Alimosho said.
