Come May 29, 2023, you will start your four years of office. This is a weighty responsibility as Nigerians will be looking up to you to modify some of the policies of the Buhari Administration to fit into our current realities.
Nigeria is more divided now than ever before on ethnoreligious and socio-political divides. The time for our nation's unification is now and the huge task now rests on your shoulders.
Asiwaju, you promised "Renewed Hope" for Nigerians. We need that 'Renewed Hope' as fast as yesterday! Along with the fuel scarcity, the Naira redesign policy has bitten harder on the people more. Nigerians would be looking up to you to redeem your pledge to give us a 'Renewed Hope' in this system.
Your presidential campaign Council, and indeed the ruling party, are made up of brilliant minds; progressives and technocrats. Please, bring these on board to help drive the much-needed change.
Also, you are known to be a de-tribalised leader, as we see in Lagos State that 'non-indigenes' are in the House of Assembly, and even Members of the State Executive Council. It will be no surprise, therefore, that I am believing (very confidently) that you will extend a hand of friendship and team spirit even to those in other parties who can help deliver on your mandate.
