THE Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi has debunked rumours being peddled in some online news media that the APC national delegates from the Alimosho LGA did not vote for the National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the recently concluded APC presidential primaries held at the Eagle Square in Abuja.

The Lagos APC Chairman made this remark at the commissioning of the Department of State Security (DSS) building constructed by the Sanwo-Olu-led administration in the Alimosho area of Lagos.

He emphasised that the trio of Abdullahi Enilolobo, Hon. Jimoh Ajao, and the Chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, all delivered their votes to Asiwaju Tinubu.

"I took sixty national delegates to the national convention and three came from Alimosho Local Government.

"I want to tell you categorically that all the sixty national delegates from Lagos State delivered their votes to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu," Hon. Ojelabi said.

The Chairman also seized the opportunity to appeal to members to embrace peace, come together, and work harmoniously for the progress of the party, adding that party leaders should endeavour to mobilise residents and youth to register and obtain their Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
