Kaokab celebrates 9ja at 63, calls for renewed hope for unity and prosperity

HON Kaokab Ibraheem Aroworatira has joined the Nigeria citizenry in the national jubilation as Nigeria turns 63 today, October 1, 2023. 

In his press release, he also emphasized the need for more collaborative effort of all Nigerians towards achieving a better Nigeria, and as well to key into the present federal government renewed Hope agenda .

He said, "I send my best wishes to Nigerians as we rejoice and celebrate our sustained unity as a nation for sixty three years straight. I urge every Nigerian to reflect on our priceless sacrifice and the limitless love of God for the uptight development of our nation Nigeria .

"As we celebrate, let us also remember our obligation as citizens, regardless of tongue, faith and tribe. Let us meditate about our heroes past and their supreme sacrifice for a better nation and be thankful to God for the privilege of such an enviable history".

He also added, "Let us be patient and key into the agenda of the renewed Hope so that the government can make faster progress towards achieving a great economy, hence and prosperous country we all desire. If we can just eschew divisive, parochial, ethnic, and religious sentiments and rivalries, and begin to live more harmoniously with our compatriots, I see a greater and greener Nigeria emerging soon enough for the good of all".

Kaokab also pleaded with the all the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) to shun strikes and resume negotiations with the government instead. "Let us embrace the spirit of unity and recommit ourselves to patriotic pursuits of peace in the interest of our nation", he said.
