IN a bid to create a sustainable living for residents of the constituency, the Member of the House of Representatives representing the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, is set to empower Alimosho residents with sustainable skills under the Mayor KK Paint Making (MPM) scheme and Mayor K.K. Agripreneurship Programme (MAP).
A statement released by Ganiyu Adele Ayuba Media Centre on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, read: “Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba (Mayor K.K.), the Member of the House of Representatives in Alimosho Federal Constituency in the 10th National Assembly, is deeply committed to the empowerment of constituents.
“Mayor K.K. recognises and understands the potential and importance of empowering constituents in order to create a more inclusive and equitable society. He recognises the challenges of the present economic situation and seeks to address them by implementing programmes and initiatives that promote their empowerment.
“One of the key ways in which Mayor K.K. is working towards the empowerment of constituents is through skills acquisition and entrepreneurial training programs in these two (2) categories, Mayor KK Paint Making (MPM) and Mayor K.K. Agripreneurship Programme (MAP), at a date and time that will be announced to constituents.”
The statement added that the programmes aim to equip the beneficiaries to become economically self-sufficient, actively participate in the economy, and contribute to economic growth and development.
