IN commemoration of the United Nations Year 2022 International Day of Happiness, the Chairman, Board of Directors of Avila Naturalle, Mrs Temitope Mayegun recently attended a webinar put together by the World Growth Forum, India, to share her thoughts alongside other attendees on the topic "Importance of happiness in personal and professional lives".
According to Mrs Mayegun, the webinar, which took place on Sunday, March 20, 2022, was a great and enlightening platform as she was able to hear from other great speakers on their views on the importance of happiness in personal and professional lives.
Sharing her experience, Tope Mayegun said that one of the attendees, Ms Allison, CEO of Piarco Air Service from Thailand, shared that managing anger and expectations, both personally and professionally, will help to maintain happiness in our lives.
Further, she said, “It was also interesting to hear from Dr Mustafa, the Chairman and Managing Director of Kaj from the United Arab Emirates, that the country prioritises happiness, so much that they have a Ministry of Happiness which is majorly focused on the citizenry".
Mrs Mayegun, on her part also shared with the other participants her mantra on how to attain and maintain happiness in one’s personal and professional life. She said; “Touch lives in your little ways, create solutions to problems, make people happy and you will be happier.”
Recall that the Proudly Nigerian CEO of one of the most successful businesses in Alimosho, and one to watch across Africa, was also recently a guest at the First Bank and Union Bank's International Women's Day events held in Lagos.
