1.  COURT ORDERS BINANCE TO RELEASE DATA OF NIGERIAN USERS TO EFCC29c1b4dd-1913-4e97-9029-3cd01579de6d
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered Binance Holdings Limited to provide the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) with comprehensive information on all persons from Nigeria trading on the platform. According to EFCC, the requested data would help the commission complete its investigation.

2.  LARGE CROWD AS LAGOS DISCOUNTED FOOD MARKETS COMMENCE SALES8965
The Lagos food market ‘Ounje Eko’ offering discounted prices on essential food items across the State commenced sales across designated venues on Sunday, March 17, 2024, with staple food items including rice, beans, garri, bread, eggs, tomatoes, and pepper. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had ordered that food products at the “Ounje Eko” food markets be sold at a 25% discount in all five divisions of Lagos.

3.  HOUSEHELP STABS BOSS TO DEATH IN LAGOS8960
A yet-to-be-identified woman residing in the Gbagada area of Lagos State has reportedly met a tragic end after being fatally stabbed by her househelp. According to media reports, the househelp, identified as Peter, is currently on the run, with the time of the murder still unknown. The househelp killed the employer and dumped her body by the staircase as discovered by her son who came on a visit.

4.  FG POSTPONES STUDENTS’ LOAN LAUNCH INDEFINITELY8929
The Federal Government of Nigeria, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has postponed the launch of the Nigerian Students Loan Scheme indefinitely. Recall that in June 2023, President Bola Tinubu signed a bill to start a Students Loan Fund that would give interest-free loans to Nigerians for higher education.
