1.  LASG BANS SINGLE-USE PLASTICS, STYROFOAM PACKS8356
The Lagos State Government has announced a ban on single-use plastics and styrofoam packs, popularly called ‘takeaways’, with “immediate effect.” The Commissioner has directed the Lagos Waste Management Authority and the Kick Against Indiscipline to immediately commence the implementation of the ban.

2.  LASG SHUTS KATANGUA, OKE AFA MARKETS8322
The Lagos State Government has sealed the Katangua (Abule Egba) and Oke Afa (Isolo) markets over environmental sanitation violations. Recall that in times past, the State Government has enforced closures in several other markets throughout the State for environmental sanitation infractions.

3. ALIMOSHO LGA PARTNERS NNMDA ON TRADITIONAL MEDICINE8291
The Alimosho Local Government Area, under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, has partnered with the Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency (NNMDA) with the support of Zamzams Medical Solution Nigeria Limited for the promotion of inter-institutional cooperation in traditional medicine.

4.  KEHINDE JOSEPH CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF EDUCATION8361
In commemoration of this year's International Day of Education, the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, has charged parents and guardians to invest in knowledge, ignite curiosity, and pave the way for a brighter, more enlightened future, because every mind holds the potential for positive change, and education is the key that unlocks it.
