1. DANGOTE DENIES REPORTS TO SLASH CEMENT PRICE FROM N5,500 TO N2,700 IN OCTOBER
Dangote Group, the umbrella company of Dangote Cement, has denied reports that it plans to reduce cement prices by 50.9 per cent on October 1, 2023. Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Industries Limited described the reports as fake news.
2. SUBSIDY PALLIATIVES: KEHINDE JOSEPH DISTRIBUTES LASG FOOD PACKAGES TO ALIMOSHO CONSTITUENTS
In a bid to mitigate the impact of the recent fuel subsidy removal on the residents of Alimosho, the Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Alimosho Constituency II, Hon. Kehinde Olaide Joseph, has distributed the food packages of the Lagos State Government to the people of Alimosho Constituency II.

The lead Pastor of the Citadel Global Community Church, formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has declared that the late musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad, may have reaped the reward of his actions while alive, adding that the late MohBad was associating with "evil people” while he was alive.

6. SANWO-OLU GIVES TRADERS 2 DAYS ULTIMATUM TO EVACUATE RAILWAY TRACKS
The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has warned traders along railway tracks to evacuate their goods within two days. According to media reports, Sanwo-Olu made the charge during a visit to the Agege station of the Red Line Rail Project, where he addressed some traders, saying that the railway was not a marketplace and did not want any loss of lives.
