Ogunyemi emerges new leader of AOOLCDA legislative

HON Olatunji Ogunyemi has emerged as the Leader of the Fifth Legislative Arm of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.

Hon. Ogunyemi of All Progressive Congress, APC, emerged unopposed as he was nominated by the councillor representing Ward E, Hon. Wale Omitogun and seconded by the councillor representing Ward F, Hon. Kayode Obaleye.

He was elected unanimously by the other six legislators present at the session and sworn into office immediately as the Leader of the Fifth Legislative Arm of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.

However, as at the time of this report, the other principal officers of the legislative arm are yet to reach an agreement on the Deputy Leader, the Majority Leader and the Chief Whip positions are still ongoing among the councillors.

The emergence of Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi made it the third councillor from Ward G to emerge the Leader of the House after Hon. Sola Popoola and Hon. Ganiyu Ajose, respectively emerged the Leaders of the Legislative House during their tenure as councillors.
