LASG reassures relocating Computer Village to Agbado Oke-odo

LAGOS State Government has reassured stakeholders of a sure relocation of the popular Computer Village from Ikeja to Alimosho.

It would be recalled that the Lagos State Ministry for Physical Planning and Urban Development, early last year, noted the government's decision to move the market from Ikeja to Agbado Oke-odo.

The commissioner, Dr. Idris Salako however reiterated during a Ministerial press briefing on Tuesday that the relocation of the Computer Village, Ikeja, Ultra-Modern ICT Park, Katangowa in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, is on course and that the state government has delivered the vacant site to the developer for the construction of an ICT park. 

The Commissioner further stated that the new site will have three connecting roads to the proposed ICT park. Also with 250 resettlement stalls, 78 toilets and showers, and two blocks of warehouses.

Salako revealed that the site will be completed in the next two years and as soon as all arrangements are completed, the market will be relocated without delay.
