It is the new trend in Alimosho as these hard workers were 'sighted on the road' across Agbado Oke-Odo and Ayobo Ipaja.

Speaking to Beatrice at Kola, she said "It's good business and I am making enough money to take care of myself and junior ones.

"Some of us are even married and have children. I have a friend who rides Marwa like me and we started together. She has 2 children and she is happy with her job".

Asked if the men in the trade are not a problem, she said with her emotion in full gear, "No! They are even nice and they always want to help me. Some of them will even defend me."

Another lady who plies Gate - Ipaja route and who pleaded anonymous also admitted the trade is profitable. She said, however, that the daily extortion of the union is always a headache.

" The Union collects too much money and it is every day. I am also worried that they are saying Sanwo- Olu is planning to stop us. I just hope this is not true", she said.
