Famuyiwa receives Agbado Oke-Odo youth who successfully completed LASG entrepreneurial training

The training was aimed at facilitating entrepreneurial skills acquisition for graduates and also upgrading the skills of artisans for employability and promotion of entrepreneurship.

THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, on Monday, April 4, 2022, received the youth who represented the council area at the two-week training program organised by the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment tagged ‘21st Century Talent Hunt/It-Enabled Entrepreneurship and Mentorship Programme for Unemployed Youths. 

According to reports, the training was aimed at facilitating entrepreneurial skills acquisition for graduates and also upgrading the skills of artisans for employability and promotion of entrepreneurship. 

The training also served as an avenue to propagate, project and advocate the essentials of self-sufficiency, and self-sustainability through entrepreneurship and talent discovery.

The Council Chairman, Hon. David Famuyiwa, in his address, urged the delegates to make maximum use of this opportunity to be their own boss rather than searching for white-collar jobs that have no security.

The delegates, through their coordinator, Mr Adeyemi Saheed expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the council chairman and also promised to make good use of the acquired knowledge.
