THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, as the election tribunal upholds his March 2023 election victory and dismissed the suit of the Labour Party and PDP candidates.
In his congratulatory speech to the Governor on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Famuyiwa said: “On behalf of the government and the good people of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, I heartily congratulate the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and his Deputy, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on the affirmation of their re-election by the Lagos Governorship Election Petition Tribunal.
“I appreciate the judiciary for their detailed delivery and the good people of Lagos State for their love and support for the Sanwo-Olu administration over the years and for re-electing him back to office. I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the Judges affirmed that Lagosians overwhelmingly voted for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu because of his long-standing history of performance and unwavering commitment to patriotism and for his bid to make Lagos State a home for all.
“Of a truth, Mr Sellable is a testimony to the fact that hard work, equity, fairness, and justice bring peace to a people determined to make life better for themselves, and we remain confident that Governor Sanwo-Olu's second coming will witness more dividends of democracy as well as better days for all Lagosians through his administration's T-H-E-M-E-S agenda.
