THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa has celebrated the children of the council area as they celebrate the year 2022 children's day celebration.
The council mayor, in his felicitation note, said; "Children are the heritage of the Lord, and as such be treated as one.
"Today, I celebrate all the Children in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA and beyond as we mark their day today.
"I encourage you to be disciplined, more obedient to authority, focus on your academic pursuit, and continue to pursue greatness through hardwork and diligence.
"May I also admonish the parents and caregivers to devote more time and attention to the children. Endeavour not to leave their upbringing and character formation to their teachers alone.
"We should take greater responsibility for their protection, wellbeing and the orderliness of society at large.
"As a government and on behalf of my formidable team, I promise to re-dedicate ourselves to helping our children reach their dreams and realize their full potentials in order to build a strong foundation for their future, support their health and development while ensuring they receive a standard education that will prepare them for what lies ahead."
