IN recognition of the sterling contributions made by the Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, to the development of the council area, Hon Famuyiwa has been honoured by the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs.
The achievement was recorded during the Nigerian Local Government Summit and Award Event held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
According to information gathered by AlimoshoToday, Hon. Famuyiwa, while receiving the award, promised to deliver more dividends of democracy to the great people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.
It is also believed that the recognition award will, no doubt, propel the council boss to pursue more developmental agenda for the community in the area of infrastructure, human capital, health, education, security, and women and youth empowerments which will, in turn, promote the well-being of the residents of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.
Meanwhile, the Management Team, Legislative Council, Staff and the good people of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, have also congratulated the council mayor on receiving this award of recognition.
“Our indefatigable Chairman Sir, we want you to know that this award justifies the confidence we repose in you and a testimony to our long-held belief that as the Executive Chairman, you have acquitted yourself as a genuine development-centric leader, whose values transcend the mundane lines of ethnicity and bitter politics,” their congratulatory note reads.
Other dignitaries present during the award presentation include; the Vice-Chairman, Hon. (Mrs) Ajoke Moromoke Obe, Council-Manager, Mr Olugbenga Shogbanmu, and the Council Treasurer, Mr Luqman Ajibola.
