THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, on Monday, January 31, 2022, presented a budget of N2.5Billion to the Legislative House for approval in order to set the economic and developmental pace for the year.
According to information gathered by AlimoshoToday, while speaking at the event, the Council Boss appreciated the residents of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA for "demonstrating confidence in our ability to deliver on social-economic development agenda".
While presenting the budget tagged ‘Budget of Economic Sustainability’ to the seven councillors, management team, and stakeholders of the LCDA, Hon. Famuyiwa said that his administration was able to deliver 90% of the Y2021 budget regardless of global health challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Our administration was able to deliver the expectation of our people with evidence of infrastructural development, health programs, the assistance of educational institutions in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA to mention but a few," Famuyiwa noted.
Hon. Famuyiwa further reiterated that: "Given the Federal Government economic parameters and zeal to maximize independent revenue, we are on a course for sustainable development as we remain committed to the actualization of our vision for a brighter, promising, and prosperous future for all residents in the Year 2022 through a number of capital projects and lots of empowerment programs.”
He concluded by appreciating the commitment and cooperation of the honourable members, management team, and the staff of the council towards the economic development of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA.
