A Mall with a Soul: Fadob Mall organises free medical outreach

FADOB Pharmacy, the health care wing of Fadob Mall, recently organised a free-for-all medical outreach on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at its premises located on Ikola Road within Agbado-Oke-Odo area of Alimosho.

The free medical outreach commenced in the morning and lasted till the late afternoon.

All through the outreach, committed pharmacists and medical doctors were stationed to attend to people who came in scores to enjoy the free medical services and counselling.

The medical outreach was grouped into sections which included free Glucose, Hepatitis B&C, and Typhoid tests; eye test; weight, height, and Body Max Index test, and medical counselling by doctors, to mention just a few. Prescribed drugs were also given free and others, hugely discounted.

During a chat with the Managing Director of Fadob Mall, Pharm. Mrs Funmilayo Fagboyo, she said: "The need to organise the medical outreach is out of concern for the people. People are often ignorant of the need for a regular check-up and the reason why we organised the outreach; it is our way of giving back to the community."

"I have never witnessed something like this in this community. They will go places", said one Miss Titilope when interviewed by AlimoshoToday.
