FORMER Manchester United striker, Jude Ighalo, has joined the rest of the Super Eagles team in Morocco ahead of the World Cup Qualifier fixture against Liberia which is to hold on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

The rest of the team had arrived in Morocco on Monday, November 8, 2021, with Victor Osimhen of Napoli joining the team on Wednesday.

According to Allnigeriasoccer.com, Ighalo was late to join the team for international duty because of a scheduled appointment with the doctors at his base in Saudi Arabia.

Should he not take the second dose of the vaccine, the Al-Shabab striker would have been forced to go into quarantine upon his return to Saudi Arabia after the international break.

Ighalo is yet to begin training with the squad as he and goalkeeper, John Noble, who arrived late as well, trained individually yesterday.
