SUPER Eagles of Nigeria defender, Jamiu Collins has made it clear that the senior national team will be aiming to bring home the 2026 World Cup tickets.
The Eagles, who missed out on the last edition to the Black Stars of Ghana, hope to redeem themselves and secure the next edition ticket when they play Lesotho and Zimbabwe for the World Cup qualifiers.
Collins, who plays for Cardiff City, says the Super Eagles are fired up for the qualifiers.
“We are excited for the games coming up; everyone called up is looking forward to it.
“The mindset is, let’s do it again, the one you guys are promoting at the moment. We believe in Nigerians; we know they will always support us. We are always grateful to the fans for their support. We want to give them a good result,” the left-back told the Super Eagles media.
The three times African champions will start their campaign against the Likuena of Lesotho at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Thursday before they face the Warriors of Zimbabwe three days later at the Huye Stadium, Butare.
