THREE Nigeria eligible players have been added to the roster of players that will represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the friendly against Mexico and Ecuador.

Firstly, French club Lorient announced via their official website that Innocent Bonke and Terem Moffi have received invitations to join the Nigeria national team for the two friendlies in the United States.

Bonke was in the Super Eagles team at the World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana that resulted in a goalless draw in Kumasi, while Moffi's last appearance came against Cape Verde in September 2021.

The third player is a foreign based player, Adebayo Adeleye, who now earns his first ever call up to the Super Eagles as the Hapoel Jerusalem goalkeeper  replaces Sparta Rotterdam star, Maduka Okoye, who has pulled out of the squad.

The players are expected to remain with the Super Eagles for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Sierra Leone and Mauritius on June 9 and June 13 respectively.
