SUPER Falcons of Nigeria midfielder, Jennifer Onyi Echegini has signed for the feminine side of the Italian club, Juventus.
The 22-year-old signed a contract until June 30, 2026, as explained by the club in a statement on their website on Thursday, January 4, 2024, welcoming the Falcon to the team.
Echegini, who scored 16 goals in 2023 and was among the finalists of the MAC Hermann, arrived at Juventus from Florida State Seminoles, in the United States of America.
In December, she won the Honda Sport Award for women’s football and was the Most Valuable Player of the ACC Tournament, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and named to the United Soccer Coaches First Team All-American.
She was a member of the Super Falcons squad at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup that reached the Round of 16 of the tournament, losing to England on penalties.
