NIGERIA forward, Jude Odion Ighalo, has finished in the Saudi Arabia professional league as the league's highest goal scorer as he scores a brace on final day fixture.

Ighalo who plays for Saudi Arabia club, Al Hilal, scored in the 7th and 64th minute of the game against Al Faisaly in a match that ended 2-1 at the King Fahd International Stadium.

The win ensured that Al Hilal is crowned champions of the Saudi Arabia Professional League for the eighteenth time with two point above second place team Al Ittihad who could only draw 0-0 at home to Al Batin.

Ighalo ended the season with 24 goals in which 13 were scored with his right foot, 8 with his left foot and 3 were headers, netting 22 from inside the box and 2 from outside the box.

Ighalo's 24 goals in 31 appearances is combined from his appearances for Al Shabab and Al Hilal as Al Hilal secured a third consecutive league win.
