SUPER Eagles of Nigeria winger, Samuel Chukwueze, has made his comeback from a long time injury after 164 days.
The Villareal winger was stretchered off the pitch in a Europa League semifinal clash with Arsenal on May 6, 2021 at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The injury had prevented the 22 years old from playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria during the World Cup qualifing fixtures, but with him back in full gear, he is expected to make a comeback to the Nigeria squad.
Chukwueze replaced Arnaut Danjuma from the bench in the 78th minute of the game, which they lost 2-1 to Osasuna.
The winger could make his Champions League debut when Villarreal take on Young Boys on Wednesday
