Super Eagles ranked 3rd best in Africa, 28th in World

The West Africa giants have also moved to become the third-best football team in Africa, just behind Morocco and Senegal, and then Egypt and Cote d’Ivoire complete the top five teams on the continent.

THE Super Eagles of Nigeria have gone high in the recent FIFA World Ranking, which was released on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

The Super Eagles, who picked silver in the 2023 AFCON tournament hosted in Ivory Coast, have moved up 14 places in the world ranking and are now 28th in the world.

The West Africa giants have also moved to become the third-best football team in Africa, just behind Morocco and Senegal, and then Egypt and Cote d’Ivoire complete the top five teams on the continent.

Africa's Best Men's National Football Teams include Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Cameroon, and South Africa.
