EGYPTIAN and Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah has, again, proven that he is still one of the best players of this generation as he has now broken a Champions League record.

Salah became the fastest player to score a hat-trick in Champions League history, as he came off the bench in Wednesday’s Champions League fixture against Rangers in a 7-1 win to score 3 goals in 6 minutes.

“The goals we scored were exceptional.

“It’s a night where things worked out for us. It changes the mood definitely, and that’s good. We all know who is coming on Sunday. That will be different, but it’s better to go in with the feeling from tonight,” Klopp said in a post-match interview

The previous record was held by Bafétimbi Gomis in 2011 when he took eight minutes to complete his hat trick in a 7-1 win against Dinamo Zagreb during his days as a Lyon player.

It is hoped that this performance will keep him prepared for the next challenge which happens to be against Manchester City on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at home.
