NIGERIA football team Manager, Gernot Rohr says he is in talks with Glasgow Rangers over delaying the release of Joe Aribo and Leon Balogun.

According to Rohr, he expects his players to be in camp at least 10 days before their first fixture against Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nation.

On the other hand, Glasgow Rangers are looking to keep the players till January 2, 2021, for a Scottish Premier League fixture against Celtic.

"We need good preparation, we need the players at least ten days before but like you know in England they play," Rohr said to Elegbete TV Sports.

"Somebody called me from Glasgow already they have the derby Glasgow Rangers vs Celtic on the second or third of January if we can let the players play.

"We have a lot of problems to prepare the team but I think we will have most of our players at least ten days before."

Both players are a very important part of the Nigerian football team, and hopefully, an agreement would be reached between the NFF and Glasgow Rangers.
