CRISTIANO has sent a message to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was sacked as Manchester United manager on Sunday, November 21, 2020.

Manchester United suffered a 4-1 defeat against Watford on Saturday, November 20, 2021, which prompted an emergency meeting, and after several deliberations, it was decided that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would no longer remain manager at the club.

Ronaldo, who played alongside Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from 2003 to 2007 in Manchester United before again linking up with Gunnar but this time as his manager, wished him the best via a post on his official Instagram page.

"He’s been my striker when I first came to Old Trafford and he’s been my coach since I came back to Man. United. But most of all, Ole is an outstanding human being. I wish him the best in whatever his life has reserved for him. Good luck, my friend!

"You deserve it!" He wrote.

Manchester United has put Michael Carrick in charge of the club as interim manager till they can find a suitable option.

Already, names like Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane, Rooney Wayne, Luis Enrique, and Erik Ten Hag are popping up as possible replacement options.
