PHILIPPE Coutinho has finally ended its 11 month goal drought for Barcelona after scoring the final goal in Barcelona 3-1 victory against Valencia on Sunday.

The 29 years old Brazilian who became Barcelona's most expensive signing ever in January 2018 last scored for the club against Osasuna last year before being sidelined due to injury.

Coutinho could not hide his excitement after scoring the goal and admitted it had been tough on him.

"Nobody knows what I suffered during the recovery. After so long, the goal is very important", he said after the match.

"The victory is also important for the team, because things are not going the way we want", Coutinho added.

Coutinho had been regularly linked in the past years with Arsenal, Everton and even his former club,Liverpool, hinted the club will be his destination.
