JOSE Peseiro, who coached the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, hosted in Ivory Coast, which saw the team finish as runner-ups in the tournament is yet to decide his next job.
The 63-year-old, who is currently a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is linked to Algeria and Tunisia for a managerial role.
Despite the offers, Jose Peseiro noted that he is yet to decide on his options for his next coaching job as he has at least seven different offers to pick from currently.
“I told everyone to come back at the end of the month. What is certain is that I want to continue coaching and I need to choose wisely,” he told Goal.
“At this moment, I repeat, all options remain possible. I received a lot of options and a lot of contacts from national teams or clubs. I would say 5, 6 or 7,” he added.
The NFF are yet to decide on the next coach of the senior men's team or if they would like Peseiro to remain in charge ahead of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.
