Former Nigeria and Barcelona winger Emmanuel Amunike in an interview with La Gazzeta dello sport spoke on Nigeria and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen joined Napoli this past summer as the most expensive player signed by Napoli.
Amunike believes Osimhen can achieve what the likes of George Weah, Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto'o achieved.
He said: "Osimhen is Osimhen. Each player has his own qualities. Weah, Drogba or Eto'o have done great things, the hope is that Victor can do them too.
"Tactically he has grown, I said, but he can still grow, especially in Italy where it is a very important aspect.
"I played against Baggio who had immense talent and thanks to Serie A, he became the champion that he was. Here, I hope that Victor can take such a step and become a champion, too."
Osimhen dislocated his shoulder last Friday on international duty and will therefore miss the return leg of the African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.
