SUPER Eagles of Nigeria and Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina is eager to represent Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament that will take place in January next year.
Ola Aina, who has been on excellent form with Nottingham Forest, is expected to be named in the squad that will represent the Nigeria flag for the competition in Ivory Coast by Head Coach, Jose Peseiro.
The full-back is keen to represent his country at the biennial competition again.
“It was good to have qualified. Everyone was happy and excited to be back for the tournament.
“The love I receive from the fans makes me feel good, and I’m just happy to play for Nigeria and looking forward to the next one, “Aina told Premier League TV.
Aina has already made appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the AFCON finals in Egypt 2019 and Cameroon 2021. Nigeria will kick start their title challenge against Equatorial Guinea on January 14, 2024.
