Official: Malacia becomes first signing under Ten Hag

MANCHESTER United has announced the signing of 22 years old left-back Tyrell Malacia on Tuesday from Feyenoord on a four year deal.

The Netherlander left-back becomes the first signing under Manchester United new manager Erik Ten Hag with other signings expected to come before the end of the summer transfer window.

Malacia on the signing said: "It's an incredible feeling to have joined Manchester United. This is a new chapter for me, a new league with new team-mates and a tremendous manager [Erik ten Hag] leading us.

Malacia who was supposed to join Lyon with a deal agreed before United swooped in and claimed the player will compete with Luke Shaw for a place in the starting eleven.

Manchester United will now focus attention elsewhere as they are also trying to close a deal for Lisando Martinez and Antony Matheus dos Santos from Ajax as well as Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona.
