NIGERIA midfielder, Joe Aribo, has been linked away from Glasgow Rangers to Premier League club, Crystal Palace.

Joe Aribo has been targeted by Crystal Palace as a possible replacement for Conor Gallagher, who is away on a loan deal from Chelsea.

Former Celtic striker, Frank McAvennie, is backing Aribo to succeed in the Premier League.

"I think he’s gone up a level this season. He seems to be a vital player for Rangers now." McAvennie told Football insider.

"He’s very versatile and that would serve him well in the Premier League.

"I have said this for years, if an offer from the Premier League comes in, you take it.

"It doesn’t matter who it is, it changes your life... No disrespect to Rangers, that’s just the way it is.

"Is he good enough for the Premier League? That’s a different question. Let’s see what happens in January."

By January, Aribo will be having just eighteen months left on his contract and could cost Crystal palace ten million pounds.
