ARSENAL'S Manager, Mikel Arteta, has given an update on Bukayo Saka ahead of Saturday's clash against London rivals, Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Due to an injury, the 22 years old missed out on Arsenal's 1-0 win against defending champions, Manchester City, as the Gunners recorded their first win in 12 games.
With the international break over and the Premier League returning to action tomorrow, Arteta gave an update on Bukayo Saka ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Blues.
“He’s been working so hard to be fit for this game,” the Arsenal boss told reporters on Friday.
“Let’s see where he is today [Friday]. He had a couple of days off that he needed as well. But it’s not been a rest for him; he’s been doing the training to be available against Chelsea,” he added.
Other Arsenal players who are to be assessed ahead of tomorrow's game include French defender, William Saliba, who picked up a toe injury and Belgium forward, Leandro Trossard, who picked up a hamstring injury while on international duty.
