AHEAD of Wednesday’s Premier League fixtures against Luton Town, Arsenal's Boss, Mikel Arteta has given an update on Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.

Recall that Bukayo Saka limped out of the game against Manchester City on Sunday in the 78th minute while Martinelli came off the bench in the same fixture to help the Gunners secure a point against the Citizens.

Arteta, speaking to reporters today, said Martinelli is fit to play the next fixture while Saka is still under possibility to be available for selection.

On Saka, the Spaniard said: “He’s fine. We haven’t trained, we’ve recovered and there will be a short, light session to prepare for the game.

“We will see if he’s in the best condition to start or not.”

When asked about Martinelli, he replied: “He is, because he was available to play against a really tough opponent and he certainly is today.”

Arsenal would be aiming to secure a home win against Luton, having won the first fixture 4-3 in an entertaining fixture that saw Declan Rice score the winning goal towards the end of the game.
