Riyad Mahrez helped Manchester City claim another Premier League trophy when they defeated Aston Villa on Sunday, despite Liverpool pressure on them .
Riyad Mahrez who was named CAF African player of the year in 2016 lifted his third Premier League trophy with the club and his fourth in his Premier League career.
The 31 years Algerian spoke on the win in a press conference and how he expected rivals Liverpool to reacts.
"Liverpool are a mad team, they are a superb team. I know they hate us," the Algerian star told French channel Canal+ as per Liverpool Echo.
"They're sick of us because if we weren't here they would've won everything every year, but we're here and we're never letting go and we'll be here next year too."
Manchester City 93 point was enough to secure the trophy ahead of Liverpool 92 point tally and now with the addition of Erling Haaland, City would be aiming for another premier league trophy and maybe a Champions League trophy.
