MANCHESTER United wing-back, Luke shaw, said he had no doubt in Ronaldo scoring the goal when the ball dropped to him.
Cristiano Ronaldo rescued a point for United in a 2-2 draw in the Champions League tie against Atalanta on Tuesday night, November 2, 2021, from an outside-the-box shot during the injury time.
Shaw in an interview with BeIN Sport noted that he had no doubt Ronaldo will get the ball at the back of the net when it dropped to him.
"It could have been easy to kind of give up but we didn't. We did it in the first leg, we kept going.
"And when we need a goal, when we need something good to happen, we have Cristiano.
"There's no doubt that when that ball dropped to him, it was going in the back of the net." He said.
Manchester United now sits at the top of the Group F table with 7 points and is followed closely by Villareal also on 7 points.
