The night's triumph, for the Bavarians ensured they won the Treble: the UEFA Champions League,  the Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal. A terrific feat they last achieved in 2013.

Bayern ran in flawless invincibility, winning all 11 games, including thrashing the Spanish side, FC Barcelona in a humiliating 8-2 margin in which the Brazilian loanee, Philippe Coutinho scored a brace against his parent team.

The breathtaking match saw Bayern's Manager changing tactics by bringing on Kingsley Coman to the starting lineup to team up with the Canadian youngster, Alphonso Davies in the left-wing to suppress Argentina's Di Maria's speed in the attack.

PSG had great chances in the first-half including Mbappe's technical gift to Neuer.

Manuel Neuer had an outstanding performance with 3 great saves and 50 touches, according to Sofascore, including a double save against, Neymar.

Neymar dazzled brilliantly on the ball but chose Di-Maria over unmarked Mbappe in the penalty box, and Neuer was well-positioned to make an astonishing save to deny Angel Di Maria who scored and provided an assist against RB Leipzig.

Mbappe was denied twice in the 19th minute by Neuer's outstanding performance.

In the 22nd minute, Lewandoski had a chance to find the net in the bottom-left corner, but it bobbled off the grass, hitting the post. Navas was away, not near it!

Bayern's pair with Alaba, Boateng picked up an injury in the 25th minute and Süle came on for him.

Kingsley Coman began weakly in the left flank, being unable to catch all passes and balls. The same was the case with the promising goal scorer, Serge Gnabry, who later bagged a yellow.

Robert Lewandowski's header couldn't sail past Keylor Navas.

In the 44th minute, Coman was on the ball, trying to force through the PSG defence, but was denied after he was technically pulled down by Kehrer, closing the first-half in a goalless draw.

In the second half, Bayern became more optimistic and vigorous, with Coach Hansi Flick, whispering to Coman as they emerged from the dressing room, patting his shoulder, in some sort, of "you can do this boy" word of courage at the Estadio da Luz.

Gnabry put on some aggressive spirit and fouled Neymar.

However, in the 59th minute, Joshua Kimmich retrieved a loose ball, 20 yards from the goal during an attack, he made a sharp decision to cross to Coman who got a brilliant header which separated the two teams.

Coman won the man of the match award in the Champions League final, ahead of Kimmich and Neuer
