Ighalo and five others report for international duty.

The first leg of the playoff between Ghana and Nigeria will hold on March 25 at Baba Yara sport complex in Ghana.

AL Hilal forward Jude Odion Ighalo, has reported for international duty for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers fixture against Ghana scheduled for Friday March 25, 2022.

The-32-year-old former Manchester United forward was among the players to have been invited by interim manager, Augustine Eguavoen, for the qualifying fixture.

With the arrival of Ighalo, the total number of players to have arrived camp is now 6 with Semi Ajayi, William Troost-Ekong, Frank Onyeka, Leon Balogun, and Ola Aina being the five early bird.

It is unknown when the Super Eagles of Nigeria will begin training as majority of the invited players are yet to arrive and the likes of Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Victor Osimhen, and Kelechi Iheanacho yet to report to duty.

The first leg of the playoff between Ghana and Nigeria will hold on March 25 at Baba Yara sport complex in Ghana, and the second leg will be staged at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Tuesday, March 29.
