MANCHESTER City manager, Pep Guardiola, recently breaks his silence days after losing out of the Champions League trophy to Real Madrid in what could be called the match of the season.

Guardiola's side lost a chance to secure a place in the Champions League final for the second consecutive season having lost to Chelsea in the final of last season that saw the Blues crowned the Champions of Europe.

Pep in an interview with Sky revealed that he wasn't hired by Manchester City to win the Champions League or the Premier League and claiming that he has achieved what he was called in for.

"We want to win the Champions League, of course. But when they called me, they did not tell me we had to win the Champions League. Not even the Premier League.

"They said they wanted to be competitors in all the competitions until the end, to be a team that for our fans is nice to watch and wins as many games as we can in all competitions. That is why they knocked on my door to come here. And we did it.

Guardiola since joining Manchester City in 2016 has gone ahead to win 3 Premier League titles and he is on a road path to win his fourth league title.
