FOUR-TIME Premier League winner with Manchester City, Gabriel Jesus says he is happy with Arsenal's Premier League progress, as he advised the club on what to do to ensure they win the league and secure the trophy.

The Brazilian, who joined the Gunners during last year's summer transfer window, has found the back of the net five times and provided five assists despite being out of action for three months due to an injury he picked up at the 2022 World Cup.

The Gunners have done well in his absence, as they remain top of the table since he left and returned. Following his return, he has now added another boost to the team, featuring in two Premier League games.

Speaking to media houses, Gabriel Jesus called for togetherness among the squad to ensure they remain in their best form.

He said, “Now is, I think in my opinion, the best part of the season. When you have decided on games, big games as well, away and at home. Now is the time we have to play the same, don’t change, be together and then we will see.

"The team are doing so good. I think no one here is the main man. Everyone is together. When I got injured, we were sure Eddie [Nketiah] could go there and help us - and he did it. [Leandro] Trossard came in and did it as well. So everyone is together. To be champions of this big, big competition we need not only 11 players.”

Jesus will be hoping to find the back of the net soon, and add to his tally since he has failed to score since October 2022.
