MANCHESTER United Manager, Erik Ten Hag, has mentioned the two areas the team needs to improve on after a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid earlier today.

The Red Devils suffered a 2-0 defeat to Spain's big boys, Real Madrid, at the NRG Stadium in Texas as Jude Bellingham found the opener in the 8th minute before Joselu added an extra goal in the 89th minute.

The Dutch tactician was not impressed with the team's performance as he highlighted areas that needed to be improved ahead of the forthcoming season.

Ten Hag said, as quoted by Sky Sports: “There were two things – pressing can be better from the start, and scoring goals.

“I think we need more players who are capable of being in one-on-ones, and we had the situations of one-on-ones.

“It was Rashford, it was, I thought, Scott McTominay in one-on-one situations. Garnacho, a one-on-one situation. From these situations, you have to score.”
