THE EFL cup, popularly known as the Caraboa cup, has reached the quarter final stage of the competition with Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester city, Sunderland, Brentford, Tottenham, WestHam United, and Chelsea remaining in the competition.
The draw for the quarter final stages were made today, and the date of the competition announced to be December 21, 2021, with Kick-off time to be decided and released soon.
Sunderland will take a trip to the Emirate Stadium as they go head to head with Arsenal, while North London rival, Tottenham Hotspur, will welcome West Ham United for the quarter final stage.
Liverpool on the other hand will welcome fellow Premier League rival, Leicester City, to Anfield. Also, Brentford will be given a chance to take revenge on Chelsea after a 1-0 defeat in the Premier League as they host Chelsea.
Current champion, Manchester City, has already been knocked out of the competition, so there is definitely going to be a new winner this year.
