PREMIER League club and current champions of Europe, Chelsea FC, has already identified its transfer target for January.
The summer transfer closed on September 1 with Chelsea adding two major signing to its squad which are Romelu Lukaku and Saul Niquez from Atletico Madrid. Chelsea then failed to secure defender Jules Kounde and instead, sold Kurt Zouma to West Ham United.
With this, Chelsea is now desiring to add strength to its defence line and has considered making an offer for Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, in January 2022.
The 30 years old defender has been on the radar of Chelsea in the past, especially when Maurizio Sarri was in charge.
The Senegalese defender still has two years on his contract with the Italian club but with is age, Napoli might consider cashing in on the highly rated defender.
Although, Koulibaly has insisted severally that he is happy at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, but we can agree a new challenge at England and a better offer could change his mind.
