LEICESTER City boss, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi will not be available for the fixture against Bournemouth after sustaining a hamstring injury.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria player had suffered a relapse after an injury he sustained against Tottenham Hotspur and was forced to leave the international training camp when Nigeria faced Algeria during the last international break.

Although he made it back in time for last week's 4-0 demolish against Nottingham Forest, he was forced off the game at halftime due to a hamstring injury.

Rodgers as quoted by Leicester City's official website said: "In terms of the squad, Wilfred Ndidi will probably be out for a little bit.

"He came back from international duty with a hamstring strain. He recovered well but he felt it at half-time in the game and he was a little sore, so he might miss a few weeks."

Wilfred Ndidi is yet to get back to his full form as injury keeps hampering his progress, the holding midfielder has now missed the last seven games for the national team.
